In keeping with my new love of digi stamps I created this card ~

The digi is a random free digi I found online, sorry I’m not sure which digi company it came from.  The sentiment is from the Mr. Cricut Crazy store and comes from the Simply Everything Vol. 1 stamp set.  The twine can also be found in the Mr. Cricut Crazy store.
Don’t forget to stop by the other design team members that are posting today and show em some love ~

What have I been up too???

A little of this and a little of that! Smile  Seriously though, I’ve been coloring my head off and creating cute little things.  I really can’t describe how much I LOVE coloring and how challenging it really is, I never would’ve thought that…at least I’m honest.  In the next couple of weeks I’m going to have an announcement on my blog, and I am busting at the seams trying to hold it in, so stay tuned.
In the meantime I thought I would post a few Halloween cards that I’ve been working on, first up ~

Sneak Peak ....

You'll have to keep watching my blog to see how I use this little cutie.....

Cabin Digi Stamp

Here's another digi I colored today, but I can't find the right stamp to go with it...yet :)

Coloring Digi Stamps??

I have had people ask me what I use to color my digi stamps and it's kind of a funny story about what I use, so I thought I would tell it so that other people don't make the same mistake as me.  I bought a set of prismacolor pencils, mineral spirits and blending stumps, came home and started coloring right away....looked horrible.  I thought I just needed to practice, and it was gonna take a lot of practice!!  After about 4 days of coloring and talking to a wonderful friend of mine (Theresa the Scrapbooking Queen) who is amazing at coloring, we determined that my mineral spirits was the problem and why my colors weren't blending very well.  When I bought my mineral spirits I thought I would buy the one that was good for the environment, well guess what?? It might be good for the environment but it's definitely not good for digi stamps!!  LOL  Moral to this story....get the bad mineral spirits!!

Anyway, I got a little ambitious the other day with my coloring and thought I would try something with a little more detail.

Here ya go ~

Hope this inspires you to start coloring ... if I can do it, anyone can!!

Are you ready for Design Team Monday....

I know I sure am.  This weekend has just dragged by and all I've done is color, those darn prismacolor pencils are gonna be the death of me - it seems like that's all I'm doing lately, but it's fun!!

Oh well, on to today's project for you, are you ready???  Here ya go ~

I used the new stamp set called Halloween Town, from Mr. Cricut Crazy's line of stamps for the sentiment and the single pumpkin.  The pumpkin patch was found online, and I'm not sure the name of the website (last weekend I dedicated the whole weekend to searching online for free digi stamps, and this was one of them).

Well that's it for me.  Here are the other design team members that have some awesome projects up today too - go check em out, you won't be sorry!!
