Today I'm showing off one of the first Christmas cards I made with my new CAMEO!!  WOOT WOOT!!!  I'm still trying to get the hang of the measurements and stuff but I LOVED this image when I saw it and had to use it. 

I used the Very Merry Silver CANDi in the center of the snowflake to accent it, and I think this pack is becoming my FAV....I just love how the colors make your image POP!

Brrr baby! Wobble Day

Happy Tuesday and welcome to my Action Wobble Design Team Day ... let's Wobble!!! 

You know what time of the year it is??? It's the time of year where everyone, ok maybe just me, is running around like a chicken with my head cut off to make Christmas cards.  

Actually, this year has been worse with my cards then years past.  My Cricut Imagine quit working a couple of weeks ago so I had to make a decision about what I wanted to do about a new die cut machine, cause I couldn't be without one.  So, as I was kicking my Imagine to the curb I was running the pros and cons through my head about getting a Silhouette Cameo.  After weighing everything and finding a good deal on Cyber Monday I had a Cameo on the way to my house.  It finally got delivered the other day and I have to say in just the few days I've had it I'm pretty impressed with how it cuts compared to my Imagine, but there is a learning curve as with all die cut machines but I think we're gonna be good buddies. 

This is the last card I made with my Imagine before it died, and it's going to go to a friend of mine that LOVES penguins.

Washi Up! Wednesday Challenge

Happy Wednesday everyone... it's time to get your Washi on!!!  

Today is the new challenge over at the Washi Up! Challenge Blog and I got to pick the theme for the week ... WOO HOO!!!!!

The challenge for this week is super easy... well I think it is :) 

Let's see if you can guess what it is by looking at my project??? 

Need a hint....??? Here ya go .... Telephone!!! 

Well, I'm sure you guessed the most obvious part of the challenge ... you MUST use Washi Tape.  It doesn't have to match mine of course, you can use whatever colors you have.  

But here's the most important part of the challenge .... your theme must be something telephone related.  You can use a telephone in your design, two tin cans with a string, a cell phone, or whatever else you may use to communicate with people :) 

Don't have any Washi tape, and wanna get your own?? You can purchase all kinds of designs of Washi tape here.

You can enter the challenge which will run until Tuesday December 11, 2012 at the Washi Up! Challenge blog.  I'd love to see you get your Washi on!!!

Action Wobbles & Sweet Stamp Shop

Good morning everyone!!

This stamp set has some really cute sayings and with the US map on it, it adds to the awesomeness!!

 As you can see my car is dimensional with an Action Wobble behind it.  What's an Action Wobble you ask???? They are springs you can put under anything to make the object wiggle ... fun huh??

Craftwork Cards DT Post

Hi everyone, today is my first Design Team post for Craftwork Cards!! 

 

Today I'm using their product called CANDi, and I have to say it's so AWESOME!  

 

They are very easy to use and add really nice dimension to your projects, as you can see on mine.  I used it to accent my flowers with that little extra touch :)

PPC #89 ~ Say it with Sentiments

Good morning, are you ready for a Paper Playtime Challenge?

Here is my ANYTHING GOES project for today ~

Our challenge this time is being sponsored by The Robin's Nest, so all the paper that I used is theirs :)  For the base of the card and the striped layer I used the "Spring Stripe"  which is a double sided 12 x 12 sheet.  The butterflies came from the "Butterfly Glitter Stickers" pack, which has 12 different bee and butterfly stickers and a flower border.  

The Robin's Nest is offering a $15.00 gift certificate to their store for the random winner of the challenge.
