World's Cutest Dog with Miss Kate Cuttables

Hi everyone, and thanks for joining me today for a Miss Kate Cuttables design team post.  Have you grabbed your free file for today?? If not, don't forget to pop over and grab it.  Today's file is Flourish Accent.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For today's post I worked with the "World's Cutest Dog" bundle.  When I saw this pop into the store a couple weeks ago I knew I had the perfect photos to go with it, so off I went to my scrap room.  The pics I used for this layout were taken in 2008 and I just haven't seen what I was looking for until now!
Here's what the bundle looks like when you purchase it from the store, and yes, you get everything you see here.
Here's a two-page layout I made with these files ~
Here's the left side ~  I used my Silhouette Sketch Pens to write on the trophy and under my photo.
 Here's the right side ~  I used my sketch pens again to write on the dog bowl.  I changed the number on the ribbon because my dog came in 2nd place, instead of 1st.  Considering he was only 6mos old and he won 2nd out of all the dogs at the show we were very happy, that was his first and last show because he didn't really like it.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my post for today, hope to see you again.
Owl always love you with an Action Wobble
Good morning/afternoon or evening, depending on where you are when you're visiting me.  Thanks for stopping by to view this week's Action Wobble post.
You have to admit this bird is soooo cute, and when I put her on a wobble she became adorable!!  For my card today I used a mixture of print/cut and paper piecing on the bird to give it some more dimension.  It's hard to tell from this picture but in real life it's pretty obvious - the beak and feet have been paper pieced on.
This is what it looks like under your image, just a tiny little spring to make your cuts wiggle.
If you don't have any Action Wobbles of your own you can pick them up at the Royal Shoppe  and you won't be disappointed - they give life to all your projects :)   Warning:  they are addictive!
We would love it if you would become a follower of our Action Wobble blog and "Like" us on Facebook and share your Wobble projects with us.
See ya next time!
TSQ Royal Color Challenge #4
Hi everyone and welcome to this month's Royal Color Challenge
Since I've had a lot of new followers in the past month, let me tell you about our color challenge.  The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Design Team does a color challenge on the 15th of every month and a digi challenge on the 30th of every month.  Our color challenge is just that, we are challenging you to create something (anything) with the colors we've chosen.
Here are the colors for this month ~
Now, we know everyone's computer screen will make the colors look a little different and we understand that.  When you are making your creations try and get as close to the colors as you can.
This is what I created ~
 Once you've completed your masterpiece post it over at The Queen's Royal Challenge where we will be picking a winner every month, and make sure you join us every month on the 15th for a new set of colors to work with.
Would you like to see what the rest of the team came up with using these colors?  Check em out ~
For my first "official" posting day for Miss Kate Cuttables I thought I would post a layout that I've recently finished.  It's been so long since I've done any layout pages that I'm getting hooked again.  I do a LOT of traveling so you may be seeing a lot of my travel pages on here.  Miss Kate Cuttables has AWESOME titles and pictures for traveling I'm having a hard time narrowing down what I want to put on my pages!!  Today's layout was when I was in Bar Harbor, Maine.
 To create my layout I used elements from these two bundles from Miss Kate Cuttables ~
              By The Sea                                                  Tags & Backgrounds
 I love the seagull on the wood in the water, the detail is amazing on the cut.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today.  Don't forget to grab your "freebie of the day" file from Miss Kate Cuttables and if you're new to the site, take a look at all the amazing images she has!!
Nuttin's better than an Action Wobble!
Can you believe we're already into 2014 - it seems like we just started 2013!!  My how times flies when you're havin fun, so let's get down to it.
Today will be my first post of the year for the Action Wobble Blog, so I decided to make my hubby a card.  I don't know about you, but I have the hardest time making "manly" cards.  When I make animal cards I tend to lean toward the "manly" colors so I can give them to him so he can get a good chuckle out of them and my punny sentiments.
Here's what I made for him this week, I totally love this squirrel.
Miss Kate Cuttables Design Team
Hi everyone!!  Thanks for stopping by my blog today to share in my AWESOME news, are you sitting down?? I have been busting at the seams to release this information to you all when I got it and it's finally time.....
I am on the very first design team for my FAVORITE cutting files company ... MISS KATE CUTTABLES!!!  This company has the CUTEST cutting files for most every occasion you could possibly need.  Their files come as .jpg, .png and .svg.  In order to cut them as .svg files you must have one of the following software programs ~ Silhouette Studio Designer edition, Make the Cut or Sure Cuts A Lot.  They can be used as print & cut files (.jpg, .png) or paper piecing files (.svg).   Miss Kate Cuttables gives you a freebie file EVERY DAY and a DEAL OF THE DAY, which is sooo cool.
We have some free files that we'll be giving you after you've visited all our blogs and followed and commented.  Here is what we're giving away ~
To show off "MY" style I created a scrapbook layout.  For Christmas I received this picture in the mail from the last crop I went too, so it was perfect for my title.  I used one of the free files we're giving away titled "I'd rather be scrapbooking" to create my layout.
As you can see, I've deconstructed the title to create several separate elements for my page (scissors, buttons and flowers).  You can do this by using the .svg file that comes with your purchase from the store and I used Silhouette Designer Edition software with my Silhouette Cameo.
I also used two (2) other Miss Kate Cuttables files to finish off my layout ~ The 2nd file I used was Tags & Borders for my journaling shape, which looks like this ~
The last files I used were the Assorted Owls file.  I chose the blue owl and changed his coloring in my Silhouette software and resized him so he would fit on my journaling tag.  It was important for me to have an owl on the page somewhere because our theme for the crop was an Owl with a saying of "Scrapbooking is a Hoot!"
When you purchase these files from the store you get ALL of the elements shown above, and you can use as little or as much as you'd like for your project.
Don't forget to register on the Miss Kate Cuttables Blog because we're giving away a Silhouette Cameo!!  That's right, you could win your very own Cameo!!!
The drawing will be open till SUNDAY January 5, 2014.
Thanks for stopping by and please come back and check out my other designs for Miss Kate!!
