TSQ Royal Digi Challenge #28

Welcome to the The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Digi Challenge

This month our challenge is Anything Goes, and we have a special sponsor.  Our sponsor this month is
"A Day for Daisies".
They have the cutest digital images so make sure you check them out.

In order to enter the challenge you must create a project using a digital image and if you have one from A Day for Daisies we'd LOVE to see it.

Once you've completed your project make sure you post it over at The Queen's blog for some AWESOME blog candy!!

Here's what I did using "A Day for Daisies" digital image "Happy Birdie".

I even made an envelope to go with my card (Lovin' my envelope maker)

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to go back to The Queen's Blog to play along with us and see what the other design team members did with their stamps from our sponsor.

We will be picking one lucky winner to get a $12.00 gift certificate from our sponsor which is equal to three (3) images of your choice.

My first vinyl project!!

Hey everyone ~

Not sure if you saw my Tuesday post where I did my first DIY project but since I've been giving my craft room a makeover I thought it was only fair to do the same to my Cameo.

I used Cricut vinyl (shudder), it was all I had and I was kind of on a roll and HAD to do it THAT night.  My husband was ready to kill me cause it was getting late and I was getting more and more frustrated working with the transfer paper.  Let me just say, that transfer paper was more of a pain in the butt than the vinyl was!  I'm chalking it up to my first time with it, so maybe the next time will go easier.

Here is what my cameo looked like before his makeover ~

And here's where I added the vinyl ~
And here is his full makeover ~

See where I decorate the control panel ...

I used the same paper that I decorated my craft caddy with so they matched...I LOVE it!!!!

Well that's it for the DIY stuff for me for a little bit, but now you know what I've been up too.

My first DIY project!!

Hi everyone ~  I have been busy the past couple of weeks trying to clean out (and get rid of) stuff in my craft room.  My local scrapbook store was having a yard sale so I thought this year would be a good time for me to participate.  I can't wait to get the final tally as to how much stuff I sold, I'm hoping all of it cause I don't want it to come back into my room!!

Anyway....in the process of cleaning my room I got the idea that it was time to decorate my craft caddy and three drawer cabinet that sits on my desk.  Now, mind you, I've had these on my desk for over a year and I've just been afraid to commit to a decoration for them.  Well once I started cleaning out my stuff I came across a paper pack from Stampin Up!, an old one, and I thought ~ this would be perfect for my first DIY project!!  Well, then I got excited to start but had to finish my room first to get rid of the stuff to go to the yard sale.  Once I got everything dropped off at my local scrapbook store I committed myself to getting these two items decorated...FINALLY!!

Here is a picture of my craft caddy and my three drawer cabinet before I started ~

This is what my caddy looked like before I started on it...yes, I've been using it undecorated for over a year!!!  The people at Kaisercraft would probably die if they saw me using it this way ..LOL

First, I painted them both the same color with spray paint ~

Then I learned how to use Mod Podge ~  I'm super excited with the way they turned out...no bubbles, no wrinkles -- YEAHHHHHHH!!!

Here is the finished product ~  I still want to add some embellishments (I've been a little busy the last couple of days), so once I get those done I'll post the FINAL, FINAL.  LOL

If you would like to see about these items they can be found on the Kaisercraft website in the "Beyond the page" section under products.

High Hopes on an Action Wobble

Good morning and welcome to today's Action Wobble project.

My card today uses a digital image on a wobble.  They are so versatile that they can be used with just about anything.

This is what it looks like underneath your image ~

The wobble is just a small spring to bring a little wobble life to your images.

If you don't have any Action Wobbles of your own you can pick them up at the Royal Shoppe  and you won't be disappointed - they give life to all your projects :)   Warning:  they are addictive!

We would love it if you would become a follower of our Action Wobble blog and "Like" us on Facebook and share your Wobble projects with us.

TSQ Royal Color Challenge

Hi everyone and welcome to the NEW Royal Color Challenge.  We are all super excited about this little change in the royal challenge and hope you will be too.  We will still be doing the digi challenge on the 30th of every month but we thought we'd add in a color challenge on the 15th of every month also.  We will post our colors and then show you what we created with the colors that were chosen.

Here are the colors for this month.  We understand that everyone's computer screen will show the colors a little different so your project will reflect how you see the colors.  Here's the challenge ~ create something awesome using ONLY THESE COLORS.

This is what I created ~

Now remember, everyone's computer screen will make the colors look a little different and we understand that.  When you are making your creations you can't use any other colors than what we have posted here and get as close to the color as you can.

Once you've completed your masterpiece post it over at The Queen's Royal Challenge where we will be picking a winner every month, and make sure you join us every month on the 15th for a new set of colors to work with.

Would you like to see what the rest of the team came up with using these colors?  Check em out ~

Bug me with an Action Wobble!

Here's a super easy card to show you the simplicity of using your wobbles.  I've seen people asking on blogs what to do with Action Wobbles...here's your answer!  They work great with die cuts and really bring them to life, but they can also do the same for your digital images.
