Who’s got your tongue?

This is a little card I made using Mr. Cricut Crazy stamps, which I LOVE!!

DSCN4677

The sentiment is from the stamp set “Man’s Best Friend Vol 2”, and has been embossed with black Zing powder.

The cat’s face is stamped with Peachy Keen Stamps from the “Wide Eyed& Bushy Tail” line.

Sights of Yellowstone….

And we saw a lot!  I wish I could scrap them all!!

DSCN4685DSCN4686

The middle picture on the right side is a baby buffalo that was laying all by itself, it was soo cute.

The paper used was all from Stampin Up! – Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, and Woodland Walk DSP.

Old Faithful

While in Yellowstone National Park we saw Old Faithful.  We didn’t get to see it erupt because it had just gone up right before we got there, and it was too cold to stand there and wait for it Smile

The left side paper came from the local scrap shop and the right side was just some AC Cardstock I had that happened to match.  I used my cricut markers around the font which were cut from the “Birthday Bash” cartridge.

Yellowstone National Park

After the Grand Tetons we entered into the Yellowstone National Park, which was beautiful!

The paper I used is all from Stampin Up! – Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, and Woodland Walk DSP.

Grand Tetons

While on our road trip we went through the Grand Tetons National Park.

My oval cutter is definitely my friend Smile  The font is from the “Birthday Bash” cartridge, which I just love cause it’s so clean and easy to read.  If you blow up the pictures you can tell that I used my cricut markers on the font, which I do often because the layering can get to heavy.  The paper I found at the local scrap shop.

Road Trip!

I’ve been doing a lot of scrapbook pages to document my California road trip last year, and here is my cover page.

DSCN4678

I used an assortment of papers and cartridges for this page.  The signs were made with my cricut gel pens.  The road trip sign was cut from the “Going Places” cartridge.  The road and the car were cut from the “Everyday Paper Dolls” cartridge.

Learning to color…

Ya know, as a kid we all learned to color with crayons and markers.  Now as an adult I have to learn to color again with “fancy” markers that do blending and create awesome colors.  Well, here is a little something I worked on yesterday…..

The trees and sentiment are from the Trees Trees stamp set of Mr. Cricut Crazy.

My followers are back!!!

Ok, I am so excited to see my followers have returned to my blog!!  There were TONS of people posting to Blogger with me, I hope they all got theirs back too Smile

Blogger problems

Well it appears that Blogger is having issues again and has eaten all my followers. I have reported the problem, along with several other people and now I guess we just wait for them to figure it out. I never had this problem with my "Join" button !!

Have a Bee-autiful Day!

I know you’ve probably been wondering where I’ve been, but I’ve actually been busy scrapbooking and have TONS of stuff to post.  The weather here in East Tennessee has been very rainy, overcast, and just all around cruddy to take pictures in – I like to take my projects outside for pictures so I can use the natural light Smile Once I get all my pictures taken I’ll start posting all the pages I’ve been working on, I’m trying to finish up my travel album before I go on another trip in a few days.

Today I decided to take a break from scrapbook pages and work on a card.  I got some new stamps in the mail today from Mr. Cricut Crazy that are AWESOME and really inspired me, it’s actually been about a month since I made a card.  Hope you like it Smile

DSCN4671

Sentiment is from the Mr. Cricut Crazy shop.

The bee’s face is a stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps, the Happy Lashes collection.

The blue and green paper is from Stampin Up! – Bashful Blue, patterned paper is Delicate Dots DSP, and the green is Wild Wasabi.

The yellow and black are AC Cardstock.

Ribbon is Whisper White from Stampin Up!

Buttons I just had around, nothing special.

I used stickles on the antennas and the bow and dots on the bag.

Followers vs. Join

It has come to my attention that I had a “mess up” on my blog (thanks Tanner).  When I was setting up my blog originally I put a “join” box on my page instead of a “followers” box.  Now I have corrected the problem but lost all the people that had joined my site, so please “FOLLOW” me again Smile

National Scrapbook Day!

Don’t forget that tomorrow May 7, 2011 is National Scrapbook Day!!  A lot of the scrapbook companies are having BIG sales and a lot of the blogs have different things going on all day to celebrate.  I myself will be hangin out at My Pink Stamper for her live event which is suppose to take place most of the day – maybe I’ll see ya there Smile

Happy Scrapping!!

Park Ranger Car

In March 2010 my husband traveled to St. Croix, Virgin Islands for a week, to do some graphic installations on US Park Ranger cars.  When he got back he decided he wanted to send a card to his graphics company to thank them for their help in this job, so he asked me if I could make him a thank you card.  He said he wanted something simple that he could write a note inside, so when I came out with this he flipped!  It came out sooo cute and was a lot more than he was actually wanting but the graphics company LOVED it.  It basically looks like the cars he worked on while in St. Croix.

DSCN4642

The car came from the Paper Dolls cricut cart.  I used my Gypsy to weld the two pieces together (black layer and white layer) to make the card.  My cricut gel pens were used for the writing on the side and the green strips were cut from the George cart.

Grand Canyon travel page

I’ve been trying to work on my scrapbook pages from two trips I took in 2009 and 2010, slowly but surely they’re getting done Smile.

I am so happy with the way these pages turned out, but I can’t take full credit for it – I have to give props to my buddy TINA for the inspiration.  I showed up at a crop to work on this page and realized that I only had one 12 x 12 sheet to do a two page layout…I’m sure I’m not the only one that has done that!  Tina looked at it and casually said “rip the one page you have and use the two pieces to tie the layout together”, I know I looked at her like she had two heads but once I realized what she was talking about I went to town.  I wish I could look at things and come up with ideas in a snap, and I know I would’ve never thought to rip my page!

Anyway, here’s my layout and maybe it’ll provide inspiration to you Smile

Calling the Geek Squad?

This is a birthday card I did for my best friend, who is not too savvy with computers – but she tries Smile

DSCN4668

I’m really impressed with the way it came out except I realized that I probably shouldn’t have taken such a close up picture of it.  It seems the closer the picture, the more imperfections you see – which is just not right!

What I used ~

Paper is all from Stampin Up! – Bashful Blue for the card base, Whisper White, Basic Black, and Pumpkin Pie.

The oval was cut from the cricut cart George & Basic Shapes.

The word “Geek” was cut from the Gypsy Font cart exclusive to the Gypsy.

The word “Squad” was cut from the cricut cart Birthday Bash (I love the font on this cart).

May Calendar Page

Well this one was tough for a theme, all I could think of were flowers and I just didn’t have my crafty mojo completely back to come up with something amazing for it.

May 2011

When I got this one finished I came up with some really cute ideas for it – isn’t that always the case!!
