Reminder for the Queen's Digi Challenge

Hey everyone - don't forget to post your project at the Queen's Royal Digi Challenge this month.  The theme is Fall/Thanksgiving and ends on Nov 26th.  The only thing you have to do to participate is create a project using a digi stamp for the theme and post it ... easy peasy!!!  Hope to see your creations over there. 

I'm drowning ....

Do you ever walk into your craft room or space and feel like it's a black hole that you can't make a dent in?  Well that's the way I've been feeling for the past few days.  I have got so many projects going that I feel like I'm drowning in paper!!  I went to an all day crop yesterday which was nice to get out of the house and took several images to try and get my coloring done, I got 5 images colored in 10hrs!  I had soooo much fun with my friends that I haven't seen in awhile so it was worth it :)  Today my plan is to get in there and get some stuff done, and I'm not coming out until I do!!

Mr. Cricut Crazy Design Team Day!!

Happy Monday everyone, or at least I hope you’re all having a happy Monday.  Thanks for joining me today for my design team post.  I had intended to go “old school” for my post today and use my Imagine, unfortunately it didn't want to be used and gave me fit (you can read all about it in the post under this one).

Oh well, we’ll get on to my project ~



This week was an “any stamp set” goes week so I chose to use the Pixie stamp set from the Mr. Cricut Crazy store.

Imagine this…..

Wanna hear an Imagine nightmare??? Yesterday I decided to try my Imagine with the new CCR since I've been waiting patiently.  Well when I started up the CCR it wouldn't connect with my Imagine, which I didn't think was a problem since I hadn't done any updates in awhile (couple months).  I thought if I updated my Imagine that would probably fix the problem.  FOUR AND A HALF HOURS later my Imagine was DEAD!!  The computer said it was applying updates, but had said that for the previous TWO HOURS and my Imagine was stuck on the connected screen.  I let it sit for another HOUR and then couldn't wait any longer, I unplugged it!!  It was definitely DEAD and I couldn't do anything to bring it back :( All I could imagine was sitting on the phone with Provo Craft Monday morning trying to get a new machine.  I decided that I couldn't hurt it anymore at this point so why not do a reformat through the Cricut Sync and see what happens.  After TWO AND A HALF hours of going through the reformat and setup it said it was complete and told me my Imagine had an update....being very leary I said "sure, what the heck" and pressed ok.  It whizzed through the update and said my Imagine was CURRENT!!!  I tried a print/cut from the Yummy cart and it WORKED!!  I was so excited I then when into CCR and created something and did a print/cut and it WORKED!!!   I am back in business with my Imagine and no calls to Provo Craft.  I hope my story will help someone else out there that might be having problems with your Imagine :)

I've been a little MIA around here....

Gosh, I just realized it's been 5 days since my last post and I am sooo sorry about that.  I've had a lot going on around the mouse hole this week.

For my birthday my hubby renovated a big closet I have in my scrap room that we were using for storage and now it's dedicated to me!!  I'll have to post some pics for ya, or if I get brave maybe do a video :)  Also, he took me on a little overnight getaway and train ride a couple hours from our home, which was fun. 

I've also been working in my spare time with my copics.  I'm trying to get the hang of coloring and shading and so far it's not really working as well as I would like, but I'll keep tryin. 

Oh well that's it for now, I'll try and get some posts up soon.

 

Guest Designer for Creative Craft Corner!!

Hi everyone, happy Thursday :) I am so excited today because I was was asked to be a guest designer for my Canadian buddy Karey over at Creative Craft Corner.  When she first asked me I was sooo excited, and then panic set in!!  What in the world was I going to make that would be good enough for her blog.  Have you seen her blog?  She's got a lot of cute stuff on there!! 

I decided to make a card using one of my favorite digital images from Meljen's Designs.  When I saw this image in her shop I just HAD to have it!  We have been seeing TONS of rabbits on our property for the past month, and now I see why...LOL.

All paper and ribbon is from Stampin Up! - Chocolate Chip (base & ribbon), Cherry Cobbler (mats), and Berry Bouquet DSP.
